The Club is anchored by the Nationally Recognized Championship Golf Course which overflows with panoramic views of elevation changes and the meandering Hinkson Creek. 1915 The Vision

To build the first country club in Columbia

1921 The Creation

The original 9 holes designed by J.M. Watson

1942 The Players

Legendary PGA Professional Ben Hogan and Sam Snead play an exhibition match for the Club Membership

1987 The Addition

The second 9 holes is designed by Larry Packard creating the true championship course

1989 The Rankings

The Columbia Tribune ranks six of CCC's holes as Top Golf Holes in the area

2005 The Recognition

The Columbia Historic Preservation Commission recognizes Columbia Country Club as one of Columbia's Most Notable Historic Properties

2012 The Redesign

World-renowned golf course design firm Hurdzan/Fry awarded the task of a complete course redesign

2013/2014 The Honor

Design Excellence honoree by the American Society of Golf Course Architects and Award Recipient in Golf Inc Magazine for Best Private Course Renovation of the Year
